Since 2005, Santhigiri Ashram, under the visionary guidance of Swami Gururethnam Jnana Thapaswi, has organized numerous national and international seminars focusing on health, peace, spirituality, sustainable development, and traditional Indian healing. These seminars attract global delegates, including Nobel laureates, scholars, and representatives from spiritual organizations worldwide, enhancing the Ashram’s global reputation and spiritual outreach.
A landmark event was the international seminar on Health, Peace, and Spirituality held in Kottayam, Kerala, which provided in-depth insights into the Ashram’s multifaceted activities. Similarly, the 2010 seminar on global warming highlighted the Ashram’s commitment to eco-conscious living and sustainable development, with participation from international delegates.
The dedication of the Lotus Parnasala was marked by an international spiritual colloquium, attended by over 250 spiritual organizations, emphasizing trans-religious spirituality and Santhigiri’s role as a global hub for spiritual learning. In addition, the Ashram organized the Middle East Conference on Health Research to promote Ayurveda and traditional Indian healing systems across Gulf countries, complemented by media seminars on sustainable development.
Another highlight under Swami Gururethnam’s leadership was the Kalanjali Festival, a grand cultural showcase celebrating India’s performing arts and cultural heritage.
